  The nations capital in Washington D.C., has many beautiful buildings, but in my eyes none are as significant in terms empowering from the use architecture than the United States Capitol building.  The lay out of the building has many forms of classic forms of architectural expression that comes from the layout of showing what power in the form of a building represents.  I like how the dome at the top has pillars all the way around each level all the to the tip of the building, and that what i first noticed when i actually got to see the building in person from the view from an airplane and from the national mall that stretches out in front of the capitol.
