Manhattan Village Academy - It is a compact, -public high school located inChelsea, Manhattan, New York City. It consists of grades 9–12. The school is part of the New York City Department of Education.
After viewing her many works, I can make the assumption that Beverly Willis mostly design are functional aspect of urban design. She was given limited spacing and ground to build a high school in the heart of the metro. She was able to construct and compact a high school with several stories. Most likely needing a solid foundation and utilization of space allocation.
