Tow - Blog 7

Despite being a pretty standard house produced by DR Horton, this was my place of residence since I could remember. I have so many significant life experiences here, including many firsts. While the paint is not how I remembered it, I really liked the interior of this house. As soon as you walk into the front door, the stairs are immediately in front of you (towards my room). The entire downstairs is walkable in a continuous 'circle' or more like a square with the center taken out. I would pace the downstairs while talking on the phone with friends and family, taking advantage of that design without even knowing it most of the time. There was also an air conditioned room in the garage that was initially where my dad kept his computer when he was still married to my mom, but then was turned into a storage room that gradually filled with junk over the years. All the bed rooms were upstairs, the master bedroom on the immediate left, and then the other three bedrooms further down on the right, with a bathroom preceding them. After my sister left for college, I had the fortune to inherit her room, and thus during high school I had two rooms to my self. There was also a pool we installed in the backyard, which was convenient whenever I wanted to celebrate my birthday party with a get-together.
