Munsinger Clemens Botanical Garden in St. Cloud, Minnesota
My grandma lives really close to here and when ever all the cousins are together (normally only once a year) we will go to Munsinger and take pictures. Every time I visit the gardens its even more beautiful then I remember it.
Originally the area used to be a sawmill, but in 1915 the city bought it to turn into a park. However it was Mr. Munsinger a guy who lived across the street from the park that turned it into the beauty that it is today. He eventually became the superintendent of the park. He started planting flowers in the park across from his house because his wife was terminally ill. She wasn't able to leave the house, so Mr. Munsinger plant the beautiful flowers so his wife would have something beautiful to look at outside of the windows.
