Crowder 5
This is the chapel at Marion Military Institute in Marion, AL. I went to school here for the first two years of college in 2010-2012. The building was used as a civil war hospital, and today is used for church services and ceremonies for the cadets. This is the first building you notice when driving on campus and it is very inspiring. The giant pillars and grand door is impressive. On the outside in the soft brick almost every cadet that has graduated has carved their name. Thousands of names and almost no more space. I received my commission as a 2LT in the US Army in this building and was inducted as a cadet as well. This was a huge step in the right direction and I owe a lot to this school and this building.
