Eaton - Blog 2
This is a picture of the Toyota Center in Houston, TX home of the Houston Rockets and the late Houston Aeros. I took a tour of the center when I was in the 7th grade, a full tour of the first class facilities. We viewed the box seats, the courts, the players locker rooms in addition to their workout center. One of the things that caught my attention immediately was how many different components of the arena there were in terms of utility and architectural elements. The home locker rooms were extremely contemporary with modern touches of wood grain around the player's lockers, while on the other hand the box seats had a more classic feel to it. The moment I remember most vividly was when we let a group of girls go onto the elevator that we were waiting on and off the elevator came Juwan Howard. So overall it was a good experience; this is the time where I embraced Houston culture being that I only lived there for four to five years up until that point.
