Ferguson- Blog 1

Gaylord Hall at University of Oklahoma

This is a building that I have not yet had the opportunity to have a class in yet, but I enjoy studying in here from time to time. I like the way in which they use a lot of windows to let natural light in, which gives the inside of the building a lively feel. The other interesting thing is the lights they placed at the top of the dome that change colors which is entrancing at night. I also appreciated how the staircase was the focal point when you walk in the main doors, because it is different from a lot of other plain staircases on campus and such. I would like to think that the rest of the remodeling and improvements going on around campus could be similar to how they constructed this building.
