Moser-Blog1 MuseumOfModernArt

The Museum of Modern Art, Ft. Worth Texas
By Tadao  Ando

The Museum of Modern Art, Ft. Worth Texas is the work of Tadao Ando.  This building uses simple, clean geometry and has a minimalist look about it.  Aside from the surrounding environment, the only material identifiable are glass and concrete.  It’s pretty spectacular seeing those giant concrete slabs.  This whole building seems to be at one with its environment with its large glass walls.  The water is free to move naturally around the building so a viewer from the inside may feel as though he is actually in it.   The glass walls seem to provide protection from elements yet at the same time, allow for visitor to be part of them, sort of “safe yet exposed”.

I really light the use of natural light the overall minimalist look inside and out.  The use of space makes the inside of this building gives it a natural, soft, clean look even though each floor enclosed by concrete and glass.
