Rivera- 5

Some of my best memories from my childhood are visiting my grandparents in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. There's a movie theater there called the Orpheum Theatre that my grandma always took me to. I always thought it was so elegant, inside and out. It had this huge auditorium that originally served as an opera house when it was built in the 1920s. There were beautiful, ornate private booths on the side of the theater where the wealthy could sit. People weren't allowed up there, but the huge ceilings and velvet curtains were so neat to me as a kid. Thinking of being inside this auditorium brings back good memories. Also, Oklmulgee is very run down nowadays, so the theatre is one of the only well-kept building on the main street.
