Dunham- Blog 10

Steven Holl Architects designed this quite unusual art museum in Nanjing, China. Although it is an art museum, so you would expect a somewhat contemporary design, I find it quite interesting that it looks like an elevated tunnel. I think the location makes it so interesting to me; I would expect this to be a building in Europe or the US, not one in China. It doesn’t resemble or have any traditional Asian architecture aspects. This is yet another one of Holl’s that follows very unique and contemporary patterns of design.
