Kierig Blog 3

In Salzburg, I would often walk by St Erhard's Church. It's tightly situated between two buildings that date from the 15th Century, while St Erhards is from the 17th Century. In the picture below, you see the church and the apartment buildings next to them. On the back side of the church is the beginning of a mountain, hence the buildings behind are also about 75feet above. The church itself is partially inside the mountain. It is very easy to walk on by from the street about 50 feet away and not even notice it. I did it many times. The church itself is almost flat on the front, meaning that unless you look up, you're likely to miss it altogether.

The lesson here? Look up when you're walking and not at your mobile phone. You never know what you might see.
