Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

This is a typical main street box building in the extremely populated Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. For as long as I remember, this style of architecture has been the primary design for buildings all over Vietnam. Many were built with the intention of opening businesses on the first or second floor of the building, then the tenant or business owners live on the top. Because the cost for land in the city is extremely expensive, a reasonable square feet of land is purchased then built upward. The price tag for buildings similar to this also depends  on the districts. Ho Chi Minh City currently has 24 districts. District one is the top location to live in but can cost more than $400,000 to own and over $2000/month to rent.
