Estes 1

This is the Bavinger House by Bruce Goff. It was built to be different and use unusual materials such as the drill stem that is the centerpiece of the house. It has no roomed areas, instead having platforms to replace the rooms and curtains for any desired privacy. This house is not someplace I would want to live. While it is interesting to see, the unusual shape and materials make it appear to be more of a work of art you look at and admire rather than a home to live in.
