This is a picture of Wave Field located on the University of Michigan Campus in Ann Arbor, MI. This was done by my architect Maya Lin as well. This is an interesting piece, because you usually don't see raised grass used as an out-of-the-box architectural form. In addition, this adds to the intrigue of the campus and definitely sticks with the theme of a college campus. The one commonality between majority of major colleges and universities in America are the large fields of grass every college has. I don't have any negatives on this whatsoever.
