Mt. Angel Library
This is another library designed by Aalto. While the first that I looked at was very straight, this has a welcoming curvature. I especially like the wheel and spokes pattern of the outer bookshelves, and the open space that permeates downward from the ceiling. Because of this open space, the natural and artificial light are able to meld seamlessly, giving the space a nice clean feel without being clinical.
