Young- Blog 10



Designed with his father Eliel, this work of Eero Saarinen was wrought in the international style. The Kleinhans Music Hall plays with the same functional techniques as many of his other works, featuring little external decoration and favoring a more straightforward approach. At the same time, the detailing on the structure serves to catch the eye, almost demanding attention and inspection. The building is considered by many to be at the forefront of American music.
