This is the Charlotte Sports Coliseum done by the famed Maya Lin, I credit this as one of her least creative works of architecture as no apparent thought was put into play. In addition, I believe that she took the old Roman coliseum style verbatim from the Romans without any creativity. The only thing I see with a modern twist is the use of glass windows as well as the angle that the pillars come into the building at. Usually she puts her own twist on her work, this is a piece that is supposed to fulfill a purpose so I understand the just, it just seems as if this is not very creative.
