Towering above Chicago, this building captured my attention whenever my family drove past it. As a kid from rural Indiana, this was the first experience I had with large buildings. As such, the height almost seemed unreal. Its clean lines and dark glass surface made it a truly unforgettable building for me. When I had the chance to go back years later and take a trip up to the skydeck, the building retained every ounce of majesty I recalled. The view from the top cemented this building as a monument to humankind that I would never forget.
