Dinsmoor House

For my last Charles Eames blog I am covering the Dinsmoor House built in 1936. There isn't a lot of information on this house. Like most of Eames architecture, I am not a big fan. He has been a huge disappointment. He built boring buildings in the 30s and then started building rectangular shacks in the 40s. It seems like it was an abrupt change in style. I prefer his later stuff over his older stuff.

I really wanted to find an interior picture but I didn't have any luck. Charles Eames did seem to make nice interiors, he just accessorized it with terrible furniture. There just isn't anything neat about this house that stands out.
