Eaton Blog - 16

This is a picture of the Aligning Reeds building in New Haven, CT done by Maya Lin. I love the natural structure of this building and the creativity involved in the structure. This reminds me of my playing days of the saxophone in middle school and anyone who's played a woodwind instrument knows that this consists of a reed. It almost seems as if the building is made out of saxophone reeds. It definitely fits with the environment, almost as if this was placed in the middle of a mountain and the warm air is insulated in the wooden building.
