Horn Blog 7

* Picture to come*

This is the view from my Chinese apartment. The buildings are mostly the same. Built with concrete and bamboo, very minimal, and more rough than our American ideas of comfortable living. All the exterior walls were concrete without any insulation and minimal windows. The inside was comprised of thin drywall (sometimes molded). I can remember my first interaction with this design. We had spend two days traveling to the location from OKC and it was such a relief to see my bed awaiting my arrival.  Just like everything else, this ended up being hard and minimal. I dropped my bags, and ran towards the bed. I jumped into the air and anticipated the bed to welcome me with it's cushion. I was so surprised to learn the "mattress" was more like a board of plywood and ended up bruising my arm, lol.
