                                                            CityPlex Towers Tulsa, OK

The CityPlex Towers were finished in 1979 in south Tulsa. The central tower is the second tallest building in Tulsa and third tallest in the state. The gold plated, mirror finished glass is iconic of the 70's modernism. Its been said, nothing dates a movie like an interpretation of the future. The same can be said of buildings as well.These towers, built by Oral Roberts University, can be seen from miles away and stand tall in their golden splendor. I lived a mile from here in a phase of my life, and there was very few places I went that I couldn't see this tower. I remember it often.
