In 2013 Lake/Flato, the architects that had been assigned to be did a really great thing by turning these unfinished apartment complexes that had been deemed a ghost town and an eye sore into amazing apartments that people actually want to live in. Lake/Flato made a comment how more often then not people make negative connotations about things and the easy thing to do is tear it down and start fresh, but tearing things down are necessary if you have the right architect.
This transformation is amazing . When I first saw it reminded me how just because things are old doesn't mean you can find new uses for them. If they had torn down the building they wouldn't have this amazing space now and would of spent a lot more money.
