Intro. to Architecture
Blog #2
The Devon Tower, located in downtown Oklahoma City, is a building that I never would have thought that I would ever see in the state of Oklahoma. The building definitely stands out beautifully alone amongst all the buildings and I am proud of the fact that it is now somewhat representative of our state now. I like to look at the Devon Tower and always notice the angled top of the building first and am amazed at how the whole building is pretty much all glass and I personally like the angles and sides of the building that leads my eyes from the bottom back up to the tip that is beautifully angled. The building represents the forward movement that the city is trying to head for, and the feeling of when it was first built was that of appreciation for the capital city of our state.
