The construct above is the Colosseum of Rome. This has affected me in a positive way. When I traveled to Rome this was one of the first destinations that I wanted to go to. The only thing that was off putting was the size of it. In all of the movies that portray this building, the size of the Colosseum looked enormous. Though the building is quite large, it is much smaller in reality than previously thought before I was in the actual building. Its still incredible that I found myself in a building with so much history and infamy.
