San Diego State University
The campus architecture at SDSU has the feel of a Spanish mission. The Spanish missions are common throughout southern California. With white stucco walls and red tiled roofs the campus buildings are similar to many other buildings in San Diego. For me its the view from the air that I love. Every time I go back home to San Diego I fly. As the plane is on final approach from the east, to the airport in the harbor, it flies directly over the city of San Diego. Flying lower the plane crosses right over the campus of SDSU. As the plane crosses the campus, I feel like if I could reach out the window, I could touch the tops of the buildings. When the plane crosses the campus I look out the window and I see the red tiled roofs, it's then that I know, I am home!
