I was born in Denver, but did not grow up there. I have moved and travelled across the country more times than I can count. I have travelled through numerous airports and the Denver International Airport is by far my favorite… as weird as it is for a person to have a favorite airport, it happens when you travel so much. Perhaps it’s more of a symbol of coming home than anything, who knows. I can remember being in elementary school begging my dad to take me to Denver with him on his business trip and let me stay with a family friend, because I wanted to see the mountain airport. I still find the architecture of DIA remarkable and incredibly creative.
