This is a picture of Jenard M. Gross elementary school in Houston, TX. This is one of my favorite structures because this is where my passion/desire to succeed was lit at. One thing about elementary school is the teachers genuinely care about you and what you have planned. I remember how the part you see here is the cafeteria/pickup/drop off area for kids. The school was brand new when we attended it in the early 2000's, matter of fact I was apart of the first graduating class at Gross elementary. The colorful scheme of the building coincides with the nature of elementary school children. Thinking back to how it was, it gives me motivation to go on when I feel like I can't.
