Devon Tower in Downtown

This is a building that most everyone in Oklahoma knows about, mainly due to it being able to be seen by people miles and miles away. I've been able to visit it once and when I walked in, my eyes traveled from the interesting pattern on the floor to gradually up to a beautiful view through the ceiling. It's almost like the ceiling was framing the top of the actual tower for you to marvel at. Also, I like how they light up the top triangle at night, drawing your eyes to it from far away. I appreciate the way in which they didn't just make it another boring rectangle skyscraper like a few already downtown and in Tulsa. They gave it curvature and a break in the middle that makes it pleasing to look at and its shape was the first thing I thought of when the video we watched on Greek architecture talked about how the pillars they made weren't just straight, but they tapered out to the bottom.
